The roads have been widened a lot to reduce traffic congestion, but we see that traffic congestion has increased rather than decreased by placing markets on both sides of the newly constructed roads.
Traffic jams are aggravated by the presence of a fleet of vans or other commodity vans on either side of the road.
It goes without saying that there is no condition to walk on the sidewalk of a public walk. If you look for the reason behind this, you will see that the shops on both sides of the road arrange their products in such a way that pedestrians cannot move. As can be seen in many cases, they move up to the main road after occupying the sidewalk. You can see this situation everywhere in Bangladesh whether it is a city or village. However, it is more noticeable in urban areas.
Parking cars on the side of the road are often seen, leaving the car on a small road and the driver disappears. As a result, long traffic jams are seen there.
The biggest problem is where the passenger is get up and get down. The driver will not stop the vehicles at the designated passenger camp or stoppage to pick up and drop down the passengers. As a result, unsystematic vehicle parking here and there makes long traffic jam.
The public is often seen using foot overs despite having foot overs, forcing cars to slow down when crossing the road, which is one of the reasons for the increase in traffic congestion.
